The staff are both friendly and skilled, thanks to the example set by the hotel’s restaurant manager, Catalina. Location is superb, being close to Wynyard ; handy to buses, trains and light rail .

Friendly staff, great location, 1 suggestion is the outside "beer garden" seating would be better... Maybe 6 seat benches and lower tables. The food was well prepared and tasty. The speed of the food was very quick... Keep up the good work.

Value for money. Very old and basic but the location is 100% top. Easy to check in after-hours, just ask key at the bar. 100m from train station - 20 min from airport by train. Suits for transfer passengers who want to walk in the city centre. We stored luggage during the day.

I stumbled upon this place by chance late in the afternoon and was surprised to see it buzzing with people in office attire, both inside and outside, enjoying pints of beer and conversation. Later, I learned about their fantastic happy hour, which runs from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Saturday. During this time, every pint of craft beer starts from just $7! It can be tough to snag a table during this peak hour, but that's fine, as you can simply grab a beer and enjoy it anywhere on the premises. I had the Grifter Pale Ale, which was incredibly smooth and fruity. The lively atmosphere made the experience even better.
